These workshops build on L&M 9 Developing Effective Teams. They are customized to suit the needs of the team and elements from each of the workshops described below can be combined. The minimum for a team development workshop is 4 hours and more typically one to two days.

1 Team Planning Workshop - the emphasis here is on generating a Team Plan; covers team identity, unique contribution to the business, key deliverables- short and long term, vision for the future (what will success look like -business end goals and enabling process goals); Current Reality (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats); culminates in a Plan to address gaps and achieve the vision.
2 Team Development Workshop - the emphasis here is on building identity and commitment to teamwork; often conducted at startup for a new team or after changes to the team (new members, new purpose) or just to invigorate an existing team. It covers the team vision and Current state around best practice for effective teams. The outcome is a Team Charter with plans to improve team processes like communication and conflict resolution. The stages teams go through are covered to underpin the importance of Forming, Storming and Norming in order to ensure Performing. A Team Audit is available to profile the perceived effectiveness of team processes.
3 Flexible Teams - the purpose here is on understanding other members of the team and their preferred style of relating to other people. Profiles are selected according to the needs of the team e.g. Team Management Index, DISC profile, Herrmann Brain Dominance Index, and the emphasis is on how to enhance team processes by improving understanding and flexibility.
4 Cross Team Accountability Workshop - the emphasis here is on ensuring teams and individuals agree on their separate and shared accountabilities as well as clarifying processes for consultation where it adds value to decision making. This works well within one team or across teams where there are shared or overlapping accountabilities (eg National and State teams).

5

Team rescue workshop - these workshops are called for where there are obvious signs of team deterioration e.g. low engagement scores, poor communication between members of the team (or across teams). The emphasis is on facilitating an honest sharing of the issues and developing a commitment to improving the situation. Plans are developed to ensure action follow up with milestones for review.
